Cyrus' tattoo says, "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat."
The quote is from a speech President Theodore Roosevelt gave in 1910. The tattoo is located on her arm.
Hemsworth's new ink is a different quote from the same speech. Actually, his words immediately precede Cyrus' quote in Roosevelt's speech: "If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly." There is a difference between his tattoo and the actual quote — it's a "he." The actual quote is "If he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly." It makes you wonder if that was a mistake on the part of the tattoo artist or Hemsworth. Or did he mean to do that?
